Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School seeks a dynamic Director of JD Admissions to lead recruitment and yield strategies for a JD class of approximately 260 students. The role reports to the Assistant Dean and oversees program development, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required; J.D. preferred.
• Minimum five years of increasing administrative responsibility.
• Experience in high-level admissions and/or financial aid preferred.
• Knowledge of database management, reporting systems, and predictive modeling for admissions.
• Strong communication and marketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long- and short-term JD recruitment and matriculation goals; conduct high-volume file review.
• Lead a comprehensive recruitment program including fall schedule, open houses, information sessions, campus visits and tours.
• Design and execute strategic matriculation campaigns engaging faculty, alumni, and current students in yield efforts.
• Collaborate on publications and marketing tools to attract JD candidates and support enrollment goals.
• Represent Penn Carey Law to internal and external audiences; cultivate strategic relationships with stakeholders.
• Supervise the Associate Director of Admissions/Recruitment and Assistant Director of Recruitment; oversee daily operations.
