The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and leadership experience, with teaching or corporate training background, and a proven ability to foster industry partnerships to meet workforce needs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Industry Certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, CISSP, AWS, C++) required.
  • Documented leadership skills.
  • College teaching and/or corporate training experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and facilitate learning using multiple delivery modes and theories.
  • Assist with orientating and observing new instructors and training current instructors.
  • Determine staffing needs and manage recruitment, evaluation and ongoing support of all faculty.
  • Provide guidance to students with registration, advisement and career counseling.
  • Coordinate assessment of departmental student learning outcomes and program outcomes.
  • Maintain partnerships with community and industry to meet workforce needs.
