Job summary

Ares Management Corporation in New York is seeking an Associate for the Credit Secondaries Product Management and Investor Relations Team. You will support product development, fundraising, marketing strategy, and investor relations across funds, managed accounts, and co-investment opportunities.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and familiarity with private credit or secondaries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least three years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting or alternative investments.
FINRA Series 7, 63 and SIE licenses required (or ability to obtain within 3 months from start date).

Responsibilities

Create and develop content for marketing and due diligence materials for investment vehicles.
Own ongoing maintenance of core marketing and investor materials, updating quarterly or as needed.
Support preparation of transaction-specific marketing and due diligence materials for co-investment opportunities.
Liaise with investment, portfolio analytics, legal, tax, operations, finance and accounting teams to prepare communication materials.
Prepare quarterly and annual investor reports for funds and separately managed accounts with finance and analytics teams.
Maintain and analyze investment, portfolio and performance data to support investor requests.
