Job summary

Ares Management Corporation in New York is seeking a Vice President to lead across product development, fundraising, and investor relations for Credit Secondaries funds and co-investment opportunities. You will work closely with senior management and investment professionals to develop investor materials and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
At least six years of relevant experience in investor relations, product management, business development or client service within private credit, secondaries, private equity or other alternative investment strategies.
Prior investment banking or leverage finance experience preferred.
FINRA Series 7, 63 and SIE licenses required (or ability to obtain within 3 months from start date).

Responsibilities

Lead development of marketing and due diligence materials for Credit Secondaries vehicles (PPMs, pitch books, fact sheets, DDQs, investor presentations).
Support fundraising, investor diligence and client servicing with investors and senior team members.
Oversee quarterly and annual investor reporting with finance, accounting and analytics teams.
Develop strategic product and business development initiatives informed by market research and competitor analysis.
Prepare materials for co-investment opportunities and investor engagement.
Create content for investor meetings, annual meetings and conferences; mentor junior staff.
