Job summary

CVS Health, Providence, RI, seeks an in-house counsel for the PBM client contracting team. You will negotiate NDAs with clients, consultants, service providers, and health plans, while advising on evolving regulatory issues impacting PBM operations.

The role requires 3+ years as an attorney, state bar admission, and ability to travel up to 5%. A bachelor’s degree is required and Westlaw proficiency is preferred. CVS Health offers a comprehensive benefits package and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active practicing attorney with 3+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting.
• Admission to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
• Ability to travel up to 5% (including by plane).
• Strong legal writing and research skills, including proficiency using Westlaw.
• Experience in litigation or dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft non-disclosure agreements with clients, consultants, client service providers, health plans and other counterparties.
• Serve as a resource to other attorneys on the client contracting team and to business colleagues on legal/regulatory issues affecting the PBM industry.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Legal department and with other CVS Health departments (government affairs, regulatory affairs, client audit and underwriting).
