Motion is seeking an Associate Counsel to support corporate contracts and leasing at our Atlanta, GA location. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and real estate leases, while coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, Georgia Bar admission, and 5+ years of experience in contracts or real estate leasing, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in Georgia or eligible for waiver.
• At least 5 years’ practice in contracts or real estate leasing.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts and leases.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including corporate, procurement, vendor, supplier, and service agreements.
• Manage full contract lifecycle from drafting through execution and renewal.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate lease agreements including renewals and amendments.
• Collaborate with real estate, procurement, lease management, business teams, and outside counsel.
• Support distribution centers, branches, and facilities on contract and property matters.
• Maintain knowledge of contracts and leases; advise VP - Legal and senior management.

## Associate Counsel Contracts/Leases - Global IndustrialApply: On-Site: Atlanta, GA, USA: Full time: Posted Yesterday: R26\\_0000031690**SUMMARY:**The Associate Counsel – Corporate Contracts and Leasing sits within the Legal department and is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and real estate lease agreements in support of the company’s distribution centers, branches, and other facilities. This position joins the newly created legal team at Motion Industries’ Atlanta, GA location; the role will be reporting to Motion Industries’ VP - Legal.
