Wunderlich-Malec's Columbia, MD engineering team is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems, including PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, and related electrical and instrumentation work.

You will support start-up, debugging, and field installation, and work on projects across pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, and more. A BS in engineering is preferred, with 0–2 years of experience welcomed.

Formación

• 0–2 years experience in Controls Engineering.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Controls Engineering.
• Familiarity with ladder logic, SCADA, and instrumentation is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
• Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
• Create schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD.
• Assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and develop system documentation.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, etc.
• Adhere to scope, quality, schedule, and budget for tasks.
• Develop collaborative partnerships with clients and colleagues.
• Travel up to 25%.
