Job summary

Sibi is modernizing the procurement industry by connecting manufacturers, contractors, and homeowners on one platform. We seek an Associate Controller to own day-to-day accounting and build the systems that support a growing tech company.

This hands-on role involves closing the books, reconciling complex transactions, managing revenue and rebates, and collaborating with Engineering and Operations to automate workflows. Growth toward a Controller role is expected.

Qualifications

• Active CPA and 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Master’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Strong US GAAP, accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills; comfortable with large transaction datasets and new systems.
• Clear communication and accountability; able to solve problems without an established playbook.
• Excited to use AI and automation to remove repetitive work and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Close the books, reconcile complex transactions, manage revenue and rebates.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to automate manual processes.
• Prepare financial statements, cash reporting, margin analysis, KPIs, and leadership reporting.
• Account for product sales, rebates, labor programs, pass-through costs, financing, and technology fees; perform reconciliations.
• Use AI tools to build and maintain accounting automations and improve data quality.
