Vedder is seeking a litigation associate for its Dallas office to join a cohesive team on a diverse commercial litigation platform. You will collaborate with shareholders, participate in business development and client-facing activities, and contribute to a high-caliber litigation practice.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of complex commercial litigation experience, with strong research and writing skills.
• Case management experience, leadership in oral arguments and depositions, and discovery experience.
• Energy and/or regulatory experience is a plus.
• J.D. degree and strong academic credentials.
• Admitted in Texas or pursuing admission.

About You

• You have 4-7 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including very strong research, writing and advocacy writing skills;
• You have case management experience, and ideally have taken the lead in oral arguments, taken/defended depositions, and have significant party and third-party discovery experience;
• Preferably, you have energy and/or regulatory experience;
• You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials;
• And you are admitted (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in Texas.

Compensation

• $285,000 - $350,000 annual base salary
