Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in New York is seeking a litigation associate with 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience to join our collaborative Litigation team.

You will work closely with shareholders, participate in business development and client-facing activities, and benefit from a robust Total Rewards Package, including a hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two remote.

We have an exciting opportunity for a litigation associate to join the Litigation team in our New York office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. About you

• You have 3-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience, including very strong research, writing and advocacy writing skills;
• You have deposition and case management experience, as well as experience with drafting complaints and motions, conducting discovery, taking depositions, appearing in federal and state courts and corresponding with opposing counsel and clients;
• You have strong research and brief writing skills;
• You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials;
• And you are admitted (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in New York.
• New Jersey bar admittance, in addition to New York admittance, is a plus.

Compensation

• $240,000 - $320,000 annual base salary
