Job Description Summary

Responsibilities
  • Manage small business renewal accounts from start to finish, including logging client data, evaluating insurance needs, and creating risk management solutions.
  • Handle broking/quoting for renewals, prioritize client retention and communication, and complete operational tasks such as binding and policy management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client renewal processes.
  • Facilitate policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting on renewals.
  • Deliver accurate quotes meeting or exceeding client requests.
  • Build relationships with insurance carriers and act as liaison between clients and carriers/wholesalers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coverage and reduce gaps in client policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, handling policy changes, billing issues, and issuing certificates of insurance.
  • Prepare document bundles for policy binding and collect payments.
  • Update and improve internal information management systems, including Salesforce.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Prior experience in insurance and a passion for customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and task prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in learning new software; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, ambitious, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Current P&C license.
