Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist for a 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, Sun-Thurs; training Mon-Fri). The role involves preparing environmental samples and analyzing them using gas chromatography and related techniques in a fast-paced lab.

You will document results, maintain instruments, and ensure QA compliance. A BS/BA in Chemistry or an equivalent combo of degree and experience is required, with full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Gas Chromatography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluate and quantify data and report results to supervisor.
• Maintain instrument calibration and routine maintenance.
• Document NCMs and QC samples as required.
• Follow safety, QA and SOP procedures at all times.
