Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Scientist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with approved QA/QC programs and SOPs. The role may involve standing for long periods, working with organic solvents, glassware and specialized equipment.

The position is 2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm, with opportunities to contribute to quality assurance and process improvement in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field, or 2 years of related lab experience.
• Proficiency with computers.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sample preparation and chemical analysis.
• Record, report, and QC data following SOPs.
• Maintenance of instruments and glassware as required.
• Assist in other areas of the laboratory as needed.
