TriHealth is seeking an Associate Chaplain to provide pastoral care across Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital, and Hospice of Cincinnati. You will document spiritual needs, support advance care planning, and align with a collaborative pastoral care team in a clinical setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient-centered spiritual support, learning through CPE, and opportunities for ordination or endorsement as you grow within TriHealth’s mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education to be completed within 6 months of hire (2 units preferred). Ordination or Endorsement by a recognized faith group within 180 Days is required.

Responsabilités

• Documents on EPIC, appropriate information for the nurses, documents about patients' religion and advance directives.
• Informs patients of spiritual opportunities available, offers emotional/spiritual support through prayers and listening presence. Supports cross-coverage for sicknesses and vacations.
• Provides Pastoral Care on assigned units of the hospital. Demonstrates integration into clinical areas through team education, patient care rounds and routine visits.
