Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer to design and program building automation systems tailored to each customer. You will work in a team, solving problems and advancing skills while delivering smaller projects independently.

Qualifications

• HVAC, building automation experience required.
• Associate degree in engineering acceptable; travel up to 20%.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems and site-specific control configurations.
• Adhere to project requirements and design standards for programming and implementation.
• Create clear design documents with technical information for project teams.
• Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
• Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
• Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation.
• Provide technical support to sales reps to ensure customer needs are met.
• Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks.
• Support functional testing for building systems.
