Job summary

Northmarq in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Associate Broker to support its Retail Investment Sales team in an in-office role. You will work closely with senior brokers and develop expertise in commercial real estate investment sales while building a strong client network.

The program emphasizes mentorship, structured training, and a clear path toward becoming a broker. A current real estate license is required or must be obtained within the first 120 days; a 4-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Investment Sales experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and sales skills.
• Negotiation and influencing abilities to resolve deal issues.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting and financials.
• 4-year college degree preferred; various business disciplines considered.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Market to new or under-marketed clients to generate new business.
• Create and execute AB’s Business Plan, including relationship building and learning the business.
• Prepare underwriting packages for investment real estate.
• Learn the Los Angeles market and sub-markets, networking with brokers and related professionals.
• Learn deal structure across prospecting and listing processes.
• Support mentor/coach objectives and office priorities.
