This full-time, in-person position based in Roseville, CA, involves a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office per week after training). The annual compensation ranges from $68,640 to $70,000, with eligibility for performance bonuses.

Role Overview: The Associate Broker will focus on marketing and placing commercial lines business, managing new submissions, remarketing renewal accounts, and binding coverage with insurance carriers. The role requires understanding carrier markets and underwriting appetites to build a profitable book of business.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience supporting office functions or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; prior insurance experience is a plus.
• Property and Casualty License or ability to obtain one within 90 days (training and costs covered by Amwins).
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Outgoing personality and quick learner.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including typing and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market new business submissions and remarket renewal accounts with a customer-focused approach.
• Build and maintain relationships with agencies, analyze accounts, and develop action plans.
• Use judgment and market knowledge to assess risks on individual and book levels.
• Coordinate with carrier personnel and retail agents to facilitate placement, retention, and risk resolution.
