Job summary

Burns & Wilcox, a leading wholesale insurance broker, seeks an Associate Broker in a hybrid role to support a Broker's book of business, with a focus on renewals and new business development.

You will prepare market submissions, secure quotes, and maintain strong client and agent relationships while mentoring Assistant Brokers and ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Broker support or industry experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing.
• Proven organization skills and ability with a strong attention to detail.
• Interest in continued education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Broker and supervise a portion of a Broker's book of business, focused on renewals.

Our Associate Brokers broker and supervise a portion of a Broker's book of business, and support renewal and new business development.

Responsibilities

• Broker and supervise a portion of a Broker's book of business, focused on, but not limited to renewals
• Prepare submissions for markets and secure quotes
• Maintain excellent client and agent relationships
• Assist Brokers to develop and execute marketing plans to drive new and renewal business, including in-person agency visits, telemarketing and distributing marketing materials
• Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures, and compliance with contract terms
• Mentor and train Assistant Brokers as needed
