Job summary

Haley & Aldrich seeks an Associate, Biologist or Environmental Scientist to lead business development and technical delivery across diverse projects in the Midwest. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop scopes and proposals, and foster client relationships while ensuring quality deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Biology or related field with extensive project management experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years related experience including 5 years of Project Management.
• Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification preferred.
• Experience with local, state and federal permitting and wetlands in Midwest regions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and identify new client opportunities and develop networks into a book of business.
• Drive business development in natural resources and permitting growth initiatives.
• Develop scopes of work and proposals within your expertise and align with client goals.
• Coach and mentor staff to ensure high-quality technical work and reports.
• Present technical findings at meetings and industry events to generate opportunities.
