Job summary

IQVIA in the US is seeking an Associate Business Development Director for Safety & Regulatory Solutions. The role partners with colleagues to grow IQVIA’s safety and regulatory services and technology within the life sciences sector, leading full cycle sales from prospecting to closing.

Candidates should have 6+ years of professional services sales experience, strong English communication, and proven ability to write and manage proposals. Travel up to 50% across the US is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of successful professional services sales in Pharma/Biotech/Med Device/CROs.
• Strong written and verbal English skills with proposal writing ability.
• Experience writing and managing client proposals and responses.

Responsibilities

• Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services.
• Identify and develop new accounts; follow up on existing leads.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key target accounts.
• Manage assigned accounts to generate incremental and repeatable annual business.
• Lead RFI/RFP processes and negotiate terms for programs and projects.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure delivery of software and services.
• Expand product portfolio sales within Safety and Regulatory market.
• Coordinate with executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
• Stay updated on regulatory guidelines affecting the industry.
