Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. invites driven accounting students to join our audit internship for Spring/Busy Season 2027. You will gain hands-on experience on client work across nonprofit, financial, and manufacturing sectors, with January 2027 through April 2027 as the internship period.

We support academic credit and work with your school on required documentation. The role is hybrid—about half the time in-office—serving as a stepping stone into our public accounting practice.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Mon–Fri); set schedule required.
• Working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized with good time management.
• Snodgrass does not sponsor candidates for employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform select sections and steps of the financial statement audit.
• Maintain ongoing communication with firm management about fieldwork status.
• Prepare reports/documents for management's review using established policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• This internship is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least 50% of the time.
