Western Alliance Bank seeks an Associate Audit Director, Compliance Risk Management, to plan, oversee and report on audits across coverage areas. You will support annual risk assessment, lead audits, coach the team, and ensure timely completion according to the audit plan.

You will interact with senior leadership and contribute to issues remediation and process improvements. You will utilize data analytics, maintain regulatory knowledge (COSO, FRB rules, GAAP, SOX), and manage a high-performing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proficiency in COSO framework, FRB requirements, GAAP, and SOX standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee and report on audits across assigned coverage areas.
• Lead the audit team with coaching and development.
• Coordinate annual risk assessment and audit plan development.
• Present audit findings to senior leadership and assist in management action plans.
• Utilize data analytics in audit testing and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IIA standards and audit methodology.
