Job summary

JCW Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Associate Director of Compliance Audit to own end-to-end compliance audit coverage. You will lead audits from planning through reporting and will manage and develop a team of auditors.

This leadership role requires guiding audits, communicating findings to senior stakeholders, and coordinating with bank management to ensure effective remediation. A CAMS credential is required and prior regulatory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 8 or more years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or regulatory compliance, with a bachelor's degree required.
• Active CAMS certification required.
• Working knowledge of internal control and risk assessment methodology, including COSO, IIA standards, and FRB Supervisory Letter 13-1.
• Previous leadership experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.

• Lead the execution of the assigned area of the annual audit plan, ensuring audits are risk based, appropriately resourced, and completed within cycle.
• Evaluate processes and internal controls for adherence to policy and compliance with federal and state regulations, and finalize root cause analysis on all identified issues.
• Draft and present audit reports that clearly communicate risk to senior leadership, then work with management to develop and monitor effective action plans.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of audit professionals, overseeing day to day activity with support from the audit project managers.
