The ideal candidate will handle cases related to motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and similar personal injury claims. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remotely, providing flexibility to manage a demanding caseload from home. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in insurance defense and be eager to take ownership of a substantial caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and independently handle a caseload of at least 30 active cases, primarily in insurance defense, MVA, slip-and-fall, and general accident claims.
2. Draft, file, and respond to legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
3. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
4. Collaborate with clients and insurance adjusters on case strategy, providing updates and legal counsel.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation for trials and hearings.
6. Work independently while maintaining effective communication with senior attorneys and support staff.
7. Ensure timely tracking of deadlines and case progress, managing filings and appearances.
8. Operate efficiently in a remote environment, managing all case-related tasks promptly.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically with MVA, slip-and-fall, and general accident claims.
• Proven ability to handle a caseload of 30+ cases independently.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including discovery, motions, and trial prep.
• Self-motivated with efficient remote work skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Solid time management and prioritization abilities.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
