The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC in Houston, TX seeks an Associate Attorney to focus on case strategy and professional development in personal injury and government liability matters. You will receive mentorship from senior attorneys and participate in focus groups, trial prep, and skill programs.

Responsibilities include handling depositions, drafting filings, and supporting discovery, with opportunities for trial participation and career growth in a collaborative team environment.

Competenze

• 1–2 years of personal injury law experience.
• Strong background in personal injury litigation and discovery.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters in litigation.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints.
• Draft meet and confer letters regarding discovery disputes.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other hearings.
• Take and defend depositions throughout litigation.
• Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions.
• Attend court appearances and negotiate settlements.
• Direct and support investigation on assigned matters.
