Qualifications

• Texas license to practice law in Texas.
• 3–8 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in active litigation.
• Solid command of Texas civil procedure and evidence; pleadings and depositions.
• Willingness to try cases; first/second chair experience a plus.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; manage a robust docket.
• Strong written and oral communication with clients, adjusters, counsel, and judges.
• Technical proficiency with legal software and modern litigation tech.

Responsibilities

• Own a docket of personal injury cases through settlement or trial.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and take/defend depositions.
• Collaborate with medical records and experts to build damages models.
• Try cases as first- or second-chair; participate in mediations.
• Lead and mentor litigation paralegals and assistants.
• Advise clients with clarity and compassion during strategy, progress, and decisions.
• Grow as a trial lawyer with mentorship from senior attorneys.
