Job summary

Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP in San Diego seeks a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 2–5 years' experience. You will handle all phases of employment litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.
• 2-5 years’ of experience in employment litigation (required).
• Wage and hour class action/PAGA experience highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Motivated professional who can work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work on employment litigation matters of various sizes including individual, class, wage & hour, harassment & discrimination, and PAGA litigation
• Extensive contact with client representatives and opposing counsel
• Assist with workplace investigations
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft pleadings and motions, including dispositive motions
• Draft and respond to discovery and correspondence

HFM is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Labor & Employment practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience handling Employment litigation matters, including all phases of case management, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
