Job summary

The Law Offices of Scott M. Clark, P.C. in Henderson, NV is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our residential property management and civil litigation practice. You will appear in court, draft pleadings, and communicate with clients across matters such as landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, and fair housing.

The ideal candidate has a Nevada bar license, a JD from an ABA-accredited school, 1–2 years of litigation experience, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law within the State of Nevada.
• In good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
• 1–2 years of litigation experience making regular court appearances.
• 1–2 years of experience in landlord‑tenant law.
• 1–2 years of experience in contract law.

Responsibilities

• Appear daily in court virtually, telephonically, and at times in person.
• Accurately draft pleadings and correspondence for clients across various legal issues.
• Communicate with clients regularly via phone, video, email, or other means.
• Conduct legal research at the direction of clients, managing attorneys, or partners.
• Review documents submitted by clients or in support of other attorneys and staff.

Education

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school

Licensed to practice law in NV

In good standing with NV State Bar

1–2 years of litigation experience

1–2 years of landlord‑tenant law experience

1–2 years of contract law experience
