Job summary

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, conducting research, handling depositions, and advising on legal risk. Experience in landlord-tenant, construction, and contract disputes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Nevada State Bar license in good standing.
• Civil or commercial litigation experience.
• Experience with real estate, property, construction, landlord-tenant, HOA, title, or contract disputes preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
• Trial, deposition, mediation, or arbitration experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil, commercial, and real estate litigation matters from initial review through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
• Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances
• Review contracts, leases, claims, notices, and other legal documents
• Advise leadership regarding legal risk, potential exposure, and recommended next steps
• Coordinate with outside counsel, vendors, witnesses, and internal business teams
• Maintain case files, deadlines, documentation, and status updates
• Support matters involving landlord-tenant disputes, construction, contracts, title, HOA, and other property-related issues
