Zwicker & Associates, P.C. seeks an Associate Attorney to join our Overland Park, KS office. The role emphasizes ethics, compliance, and assertive representation for lenders in consumer and commercial recovery efforts and litigation.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Kansas or Missouri (waiver into other state).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team and outside parties.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Review litigation files to determine appropriate action.
• Advocate for client interests at hearings and arbitrations.
• Update and document case status in internal software.
• Analyze litigation inventories and ensure proper workflow.
• Travel to courtrooms within the branch footprint as required.
• Prepare for and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements protecting client interests.
• Assess case merits, risk, and provide strategic recommendations.
