Qualifications

• Substantive experience in finance law, particularly syndicated lending and commercial finance transactions.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 full service firm with Chambers ranked corporate practices seeking a Finance Associate Corporate Debt to join its New York, NY office.

This finance platform offers direct access to sophisticated syndicated lending and secured transactions for major private equity sponsors and other high value borrowers. You will work in a closely integrated team that combines an Am Law corporate platform with direct partner access, meaningful responsibility on complex facilities, and a clear runway to long term advancement.

The Role

• Represent borrowers in syndicated lending and other commercial finance transactions within a dedicated corporate debt team
• Handle secured transactions, including asset based and cash flow credit facilities for sponsored and non sponsored borrowers
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, ancillary finance documentation, and closing deliverables
• Coordinate deal execution across lenders, sponsors, portfolio companies, and internal practice groups on multiple concurrent matters
• Work closely with partners on complex structures, gaining substantive ownership of transactions and client relationships

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a Finance Associate Corporate Debt with:

• Substantive experience as a finance associate handling syndicated lending and commercial finance transactions
• Experience with secured transactions and borrower side private equity sponsored and non sponsored credit facilities
• Admission to the New York or California bar, or eligibility to gain admission promptly
• Excellent academic credentials from a law school ranked in the top 50
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple transactions in the New York office
• $225,000 to $310,000 base salary, depending on experience
