Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is seeking a Finance Associate for a leading Am Law firm's Finance & Transactions practice in New York. The role targets attorneys with 2–6 years of commercial finance experience to work on sophisticated lending transactions.

The candidate will draft and negotiate loan documentation, manage financings from structuring to closing, perform due diligence, and collaborate with senior attorneys and institutional clients. Hybrid work: 3 days in-office, 2 remote.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant commercial finance experience at a law firm.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating loan documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage commercial lending transactions.
• Experience handling multiple matters and competing deadlines effectively.
• Excellent academic credentials and a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong organizational, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a sophisticated transactional practice.
• Licensed and in good standing in New York.

• Represent clients in a broad range of commercial finance and lending transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, credit facilities, security agreements, and related financing documentation.
• Manage loan transactions from initial structuring through closing.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate transaction documentation and closing processes.
• Advise clients on commercial lending matters and related financing arrangements.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the Finance & Transactions practice on sophisticated matters.
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service.
• Participate in client-facing activities and business development opportunities.

Our client, a leading Am Law firm, is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Finance & Transactions practice in New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with 2–6 years of commercial finance experience to join a sophisticated and collaborative practice.
