The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and licensed to practice in Alabama, with strong research, writing, and communication skills. Private practice experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama license required; strong legal research, writing, and communication skills; attention to detail; self-motivation; interest in business law; professional judgment with client focus; private practice experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate documents, leases, and other business agreements.
• Assisting clients with corporate, transactional, and general business matters.
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Participating in all phases of commercial litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
• Managing matters and assignments with supervision while developing independence and responsibility.
