Role Description

The Associate Attorney will work full time on-site in Phoenix, AZ, supporting personal injury and civil litigation matters from initial intake through resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence, and providing clear legal advice to clients under the supervision of senior attorneys. The role involves evaluating case merits, gathering and analyzing evidence, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and insurers, and participating in negotiations and settlement discussions. The Associate Attorney may assist with court appearances, mediations, and administrative hearings, while maintaining organized case files and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. Collaboration with other attorneys and legal staff, along with a commitment to high-quality client service, is essential. The firm has fully adopted and is utilizing an AI gateway for staff to primarily use for all projects on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret Arizona statutes, case law, and regulations and apply them to personal injury and civil litigation matters.
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, explaining options, risks, and strategies in understandable terms.
• Proficient in legal Research, including use of AI research, egal databases and resources to support case strategy and document drafting.
• Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions with insurers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and 3 to 5 years of experience in Personal injury and or Litigation, Licensed in Arizona.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to produce well-organized legal documents.
• Demonstrated professionalism, ethical judgment, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with senior attorneys, support staff, and clients.
• Prior experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or related practice areas is preferred but not strictly required for highly motivated candidates.
