Job description

Connell Foley LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate with two (2) to five (5) years of experience to join the firm’s New York team, based in its beautiful midtown Manhattan office. The associate will work on disputes involving New York labor law, construction litigation, premises liability and complex casualty.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
• Experience preparing pleadings and discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing motions; identifying the appropriate strategies for handling cases; working with experts; and communicating with clients.
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.

New York admission is required. New Jersey admission is a plus.

Connell Foley LLP offers competitive salaries (negotiable based on experience) and excellent benefits, including profit sharing, 401(k), and medical and dental coverage.

Compensation: $130,000-140,000, based on experience.
