Role Description

The Associate Attorney will handle personal injury defense matters in the growing gig economy sector. Daily responsibilities include analyzing complex legal issues, drafting discovery, mediation statements and litigation motion practice. The role involves collaborating with partners and other team members to develop strategies, manage case timelines, and maintain clear, professional communication with insurance adjusters and clients. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Boca FL, with a combination of in-office work and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in bodily injury defense litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients and insurance adjusters.
• Proficiency in legal research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and administrative guidance.
• Effective negotiation skills in litigation and settlement discussions.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission, or eligibility for admission, to The Florida Bar.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including precise drafting and advocacy.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment and maintain professional client relationships.
• Prior experience in auto accident and/or premises liability defense litigation is preferred.
