Position Title: Associate Attorney (General Trial)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Firm Overview: Banker Lopez Gassler is a premier, full‑service law firm headquartered in Tampa with offices across Florida. The firm focuses on Insurance Defense, General Trial, Products Liability, Appellate, and Workers’ Compensation matters and has more than 150 attorneys.

Position Overview: The Associate Attorney, based in the Ft Lauderdale office, manages litigation matters across the firm’s practice areas and handles all phases of litigation, including legal drafting, discovery (drafting and responding), research, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School with excellent academic credentials
• Civil defense background preferred
• 1–3 years of litigation experience in one of the following areas: Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Property Damage, Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, First‑Party Litigation, or Insurance Coverage
• Ability to manage a caseload and litigation staff
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Practice Group Leaders
• Strong writing and oral communication skills
• Excellent research and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Well‑organized and detail‑oriented
• Active Florida law license and good standing with the State Bar of Florida
