You will represent plaintiffs in employment matters, draft pleadings, conduct interviews, develop case strategies, and participate in depositions and trials.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
  • Admission to the Indiana Bar in good standing is required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Represent plaintiffs in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, breach of contract, and other employment-related claims.
  • Conduct client interviews and consultations and develop case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, contracts, and case law.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, jury trials, and other court proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
  • Manage an assigned caseload from intake through resolution.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide high-quality, client-centered representation.
