Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor and state bar admission in good standing.
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills; analyze complex issues and present recommendations.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and interpersonal skills; comfortable appearing in court.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with civil procedure, evidence rules, and defense and litigation.
  • Proficiency with Westlaw/LexisNexis and case management software; MS Office skills.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and client-focused teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil litigation matters from intake to resolution, including discovery and trial prep.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documents.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials; assist with witness prep and exhibits.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors to advance strategy and meet deadlines.
  • Develop case strategies with supervising attorneys and analyze risks, costs, and outcomes.
  • Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and firm policies.
  • Participate in staffings, strategy meetings, and business development and client-relations efforts.
  • Draft and negotiate settlement agreements and perform due diligence as required.

Title: Associate Attorney
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation practice. The successful candidate will support senior attorneys in managing litigation matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and representing clients in court and administrative proceedings when appropriate. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong civil litigation skills, a commitment to client service, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
