Protouch Staffing in Texas seeks an ambitious Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. You will take ownership of a diverse plaintiff’s docket, guiding clients from intake through trial or resolution in personal injury, wrongful death, and employment matters.

You’ll draft pleadings, handle depositions, and participate in negotiations, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred to serve our border community.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas.
• 2–8 years of civil litigation experience; plaintiff-side preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to serve border community.

Responsibilities

• Case Advocacy & Strategy: Manage an active plaintiff docket across personal injury, wrongful death, and employment law.
• Courtroom & Trial Prep: Draft pleadings, motions, and conduct depositions; participate in trial preparation.
• Client Champion: Serve as a compassionate advocate guiding clients through stressful times.
• Negotiations & Damages Assessment: Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements.

The Role

• We are seeking an ambitious, sharp, and values-driven Associate Attorney to join our tight-knit litigation team. In this role, you will take meaningful ownership of a diverse plaintiff's docket, navigating clients through the legal process step-by-step from initial intake through trial or resolution.
• Because our practice uniquely intersects personal injury and employment law (often representing clients facing job issues after an injury), you will develop a sophisticated, holistic litigation skill set that sets you apart.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Advocacy & Strategy: Manage an active litigation caseload encompassing serious personal injury, wrongful death, and employment law disputes.
• Courtroom & Trial Prep: Draft high-caliber pleadings, substantive motions, and targeted discovery requests. Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions in court, and actively participate in trial preparation and execution.
• Client Champion: Serve as a compassionate, communicative advocate for our clients, guiding them through stressful times with clear legal strategies and empathetic counsel.
• Negotiations & Damages Assessment: Formulate comprehensive demand packages, calculate economic/non-economic damages, and represent clients in high-stakes mediations and settlement discussions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Credentials: J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Texas (dual licensure in New Mexico is a significant plus).
• Experience: 2-8 years of civil litigation experience preferred. Experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or labor & employment law is highly preferred, but strong litigation instincts and a desire to be a true trial lawyer are paramount.
• Bilingual Capability: Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (Se Habla Español) is also preferred to effectively serve our border community and diverse client base.
• Mindset: A strict standard of professional ethics, a strong work ethic, and a deep-seated passion for holding lawbreakers accountable to make our community safer.
