  • Manage deadlines, case strategy, risks, and required next steps.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Delegate effectively to paralegals while maintaining ownership of work product.
  • Participate in case reviews, reporting, and professional development.
  • Utilize Clio and AI-assisted legal tools to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Meet a 1,500-hour annual billable requirement.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – CIVIL LITIGATION

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

Base Salary: $135,000–$150,000

Bonus: Quarterly Incentive / Production Bonus

Experience: 2–5 Years of Civil Litigation

Billable Requirement: 1,500 Hours Annually

Requirement: Active Texas Law License

Position Overview

Our client, a growing civil litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to manage a portfolio of cases from inception through resolution.

This role offers meaningful case ownership across pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation within a collaborative, technology-forward environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and legal correspondence.
  • Handle hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
  • Manage deadlines, case strategy, risks, and required next steps.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts.

What You’ll Bring
  • 2–5 years of meaningful civil litigation experience.
  • Active Texas law license in good standing.
  • Hands-on experience with discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, mediation, or trial preparation.
  • Strong legal writing, organization, and deadline-management skills.
  • Experience in real estate, title claims, insurance defense, business, or construction litigation preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage a docket while knowing when to seek senior guidance.
  • Dallas-Fort Worth market presence or ability to credibly work within DFW.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $135,000–$150,000 base salary.
