MANAGING ATTORNEY – CIVIL LITIGATION
Location: Dallas, TX | On-Site with Hybrid Potential
Base Salary: $200,000–$215,000
Bonus: $35,000 Target | Up to $55,000

Position Overview
Our client, a growing Dallas litigation firm, is seeking an accomplished Managing Attorney to serve as the Founder/CEO’s number two legal leader.
This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing legal strategy, case progression, attorney development, staffing, and team performance, with a defined path to Managing Partner.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop attorneys and paralegals across the practice.
- Oversee case strategy, deadlines, work quality, trial readiness, and legal risk.
- Conduct structured case reviews and ensure matters continue progressing.
- Manage staffing, capacity, budgets, and competing priorities.
- Coach attorneys, provide direct feedback, and address performance issues.
- Participate in attorney hiring, evaluations, staffing, and development.
- Establish consistent legal standards and decision‑making processes.
- Support improved legal workflows, technology, and responsible AI adoption.
- Maintain 1,100+ annual production hours, with a 1,200-hour target.
What You’ll Bring
- Approximately 10–18 years of litigation experience.
- Active Texas law license in good standing.
- Strong civil litigation background in real estate, title claims, commercial, construction, insurance defense, or related disputes.
- First‑chair trial experience or significant courtroom responsibility.
- Proven experience supervising and developing multiple attorneys.
- Strong leadership, delegation, legal judgment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance personal legal production with firm leadership responsibilities.
- Dallas‑Fort Worth market presence or ability to credibly work within DFW.
Compensation & Benefits
- $200,000–$215,000 base salary.
