Job summary

Lume Search Partners in Boca Raton seeks a Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience to join its expanding team. You will work directly with the Managing Partner on a diverse caseload and gain mentorship, autonomy, and meaningful client exposure from day one.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years civil litigation experience in a law firm.
• Experience handling cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and other phases.
• Background in commercial litigation, business litigation, plaintiff personal injury, or general civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Our client, a growing boutique law firm in Boca Raton, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with the firm's leadership, and build a long-term career with a growing practice.

The firm currently consists of the Managing Partner, a Junior Partner, and an Associate, with plans to continue expanding. The incoming attorney will work closely with the Managing Partner on a diverse litigation caseload while receiving significant client exposure, mentorship, and autonomy from day one.

The practice is heavily focused on commercial litigation and plaintiff personal injury, with additional exposure to real estate litigation, probate litigation, trusts & estates, and related civil matters. The ideal candidate will come from a civil litigation law firm and be comfortable managing cases through all phases of litigation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Experience handling cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and other phases of litigation
• Background in commercial litigation, business litigation, plaintiff personal injury, or general civil litigation preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Florida Bar admission in good standing
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

• 10% of fees generated from every case worked on
• 25% of fees generated from self-originated matters

Schedule

• Full-time, in-office
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
