Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar.
• Experience in personal injury (pre-litigation and/or litigation preferred).
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from intake through settlement or trial.
• Handle all aspects of pre-litigation, including client meetings, case evaluation, and reviewing medical records.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and coordinate with clients.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery; take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances; prepare cases for trial.
• Develop case strategies to maximize client recovery; communicate with clients throughout the process.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload from intake through settlement or trial
• Handle all aspects of pre-litigation, including:
• • Meeting with clients
  • Client communication and case evaluation
  • Reviewing and understanding medical records and bills
  • Negotiating with insurance adjusters
• Transition and manage cases into litigation, including:
• • Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Attending hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Preparing cases for trial
• Develop case strategies to maximize client recovery
• Work closely with paralegals, and support staff
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the process

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
• Licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar
• Experience in personal injury (pre-litigation and/or litigation preferred)
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
