Position Overview

The Law Offices of Brian A. Dasinger is a growing Alabama law firm focused on providing exceptional representation in personal injury and criminal defense matters. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is eager to develop courtroom skills, manage client relationships, and grow with a firm that values excellence, integrity, and results.

This position offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, courtroom experience, and mentorship from an experienced trial attorney.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
• Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.
• Review medical records and documentation of damages.
• Coordinate with medical providers and insurance adjusters.
• Assist with litigation strategy and case preparation.

Litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Manage assigned litigation files under the supervising attorney's guidance.

Criminal Defense

• Handle routine court appearances and status hearings.
• Draft motions and other legal pleadings.
• Assist with trial preparation and case strategy.

Qualifications

Required

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Alabama and membership in good standing with the Alabama State Bar.
