Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ, seeks an Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of intercollegiate athletic events on campus.

You will ensure safe operation of facilities, manage staff and budgets, and coordinate with campus partners and external vendors to deliver high-quality game-day experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and other non-traditional hours.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (Type A violations limited).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational planning, event management, and logistics for athletic home events.
• Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of event staff.
• Manage event budget, payroll, expenses, and fiscal accountability.
• Coordinate scheduling of departmental vehicles and facility maintenance.
• Develop event policies and plan for home events within budget and facility limits.
• Serve as primary game-day administrator for event tech systems.
