Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care seeks an Associate Area Operations Manager to oversee operations at the Ridgefield, CT and Somers, NY centers. You will provide leadership, coaching, and oversight, partnering with clinical leadership to drive patient satisfaction, team engagement, and business performance.

You will monitor metrics, support staffing, and ensure compliance while maintaining a patient-focused culture across sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clinical, training, HR, and operational leaders to support staffing, development, and organizational initiatives.
• Coach team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high levels of engagement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards.
• Address patient and employee concerns and facilitate timely resolution.
• Drive operational consistency, process improvement, and service excellence across assigned centers.
• Maintain a regular presence at both locations and support occasional evening or weekend business needs.

• Experience in urgent care, outpatient healthcare, ambulatory care, or other high-volume clinical environments.
• Prior experience overseeing multiple locations, departments, or teams.
• Experience supporting performance improvement, compliance, accreditation, or regulatory initiatives.
