Job summary
Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in New Canaan, CT is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician to join our new Fairfield County center. This role includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, a supportive Yale-affiliated environment, and the chance to shape patient access, clinical culture, and the future of urgent care.

Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Active state medical license required.
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality urgent care with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Perform common urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and splinting.
- Provide clinical leadership and collaborate with practitioners and staff to ensure exceptional care.
- Contribute to community health and expand access to care in New Canaan.
- Support continuous improvement and patient experience initiatives within the center.

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician to join our newest center in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Work alongside experienced Advanced Practitioners, Radiologic Technologists, Medical Assistants, and operational leaders who are committed to delivering exceptional care and supporting one another's success.
As our organization continues to grow, physicians have opportunities to contribute beyond the exam room through mentorship, clinical leadership, operational initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and episodic healthcare needs.
Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, and management of orthopedic-related conditions.
Serve as a trusted clinical resource within the center while partnering with providers and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and experiences.
Help improve access to high-quality healthcare by delivering convenient, compassionate care to patients and families throughout the New Canaan community.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Active State Medical License
- Controlled Substance Registration
- Federal DEA Registration
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Demonstrated experience performing routine urgent care procedures
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred
- Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
