Job summary

Greystar’s D²AI team is seeking an early‑career Associate Analytics Engineer to transform data into products that guide business decisions. You’ll contribute to dashboards, predictive models, and lightweight web apps while growing alongside experienced engineers.

You’ll collaborate with business partners to translate problems into practical data solutions, using SQL, Python, and AI tools in a forward‑deployed environment. This role emphasizes learning and impact across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, academic projects, and personal projects count.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in work, coursework, or personal projects.
• Curious, resourceful, and comfortable learning new technologies and unfamiliar business problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL, Python, Databricks, and AI-enabled tools to analyze data and build data products.
• Work directly with business partners to understand problems and turn them into practical solutions.
• Build and maintain reliable data models, dashboards, analyses, and other analytics products.
• Use AI tools and automation as part of the day-to-day development workflow.
• Validate data quality and help ensure products are accurate, reliable, and well documented.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Take on increasing ownership as your technical skills and business understanding grow.
