Job summary

Greystar is building the data foundation that will power the most AI-forward operator in global multifamily real estate. As an Analytics Engineer on one of Decision Intelligence’s forward-deployed pods, you’ll turn that foundation into working data products that a business team uses to make decisions every day, whether dashboards, predictive models, or lightweight web apps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics, analytics engineering, or data team
• Degree in quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced SQL and data modeling experience
• Strong Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience with modern lakehouse/warehouse platform, ideally Databricks
• Exposure to ML techniques and A/B testing
• Fluency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Sound analytical judgment with experiment design and causation awareness

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives end to end from original business question through a data product
• Embed inside the assigned business area to learn goals, data, and workflows
• Bring proactive recommendations as understanding deepens
• Ship data products (dashboards, models, web apps) and iterate with users
• Design experiments and measurement plans to prove program impact
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and executives
• Identify products worth graduating to shared platforms and scale enterprise-wide
• Contribute reusable patterns, tooling, and documentation
